Home of Xtreme Wrestling Club
Xtreme Wrestling Club was created for wrestlers,
grades 2-12, who are dedicated to working hard and improving their skills. This
club offers pre-season training opportunities (grades 2-12), an IKWF team with tournament
schedule (grades 2-8), and post-season training opportunities (grades 2-12). The
Xtreme Wrestling Club provides top-notch training opportunities to young wrestlers
across Northern Illinois and currently holds its practice sessions at Oregon High
School.
The overriding vision and mission of the Xtreme Wrestling Club is to develop
champions on and off the mat. Practices are organized to prepare wrestlers to compete
at the highest levels of competition if they so choose. Practices are also organized
in such a way that both beginners and accomplished wrestlers will benefit. Practices
include drilling that develops fundamental wrestling skills, technique breakdown
of various chain wrestling series, and situation live wrestling. Practices for the
IKWF season are three days a week. Pre-season and post-season training sessions
meet twice a week.
The Xtreme Wrestling Club welcomes wrestlers of all ability levels
who are dedicated to improving their skills. Xtreme Wrestling takes pride in the
coach-to-wrestler ratio as well as the caliber of the coaching staff that has been
assembled to help.
